Tora Jean (Thompson, she took the last name of my mom) celebrated her birthday as of February 16th 2006, she crossed the bridge alittle after 9pm May 20th 2021. She was my Tora Jean, my Ween Bean, my Mook! Or mookatuk... the meanest, prettiest basset you'll ever see. She came to us through Rescue... CBHR and as of recent helped with fosters from BaRCSE ( basset rescue crew of the Southeast) . She was my once in a lifetime dog, and the first dog of my very own.. She was the very last of our original pack and will be met at the bridge by Mac, Buddy, Valentine, Spike, and Cilla. (I will also attached a pic of them) She was loved by Grandma who gave her the name Mook as she had mookitude. Plus, she knew grandma was a push over. My husband and her daddy Adam dad loved her very much, and learned to love her. He knew she came before all others. She's been half way around the world and back as she lived briefly with me in Hawaii in 2010-11. Pineapple became one of her favorite flavors. Needless to say, She's been through all my major moves,, relationships,, and ups and downs of my adult life. She loved to eat and treats... especially those that came from car rides with mom to get coffee. She had a favorite place in Lexington who even named a latte after her "Tora's Adventure " at one time. It's made it dark chocolate and macadamia nut syrup if you ever want to try it.
