Skittles Meeks

Skittles, known to all simply by that sweet and vibrant name, embarked on her final climb to the great sunny spot in the sky on February 16, 2024.

Skittles was the embodiment of love, a kind soul who never met a lap she didn't like, or a sunbeam she wouldn't bask. Her days were filled with the thrill of exploration. Every other week she'd be finding a new spot to sit or a new window to climb. She loved climbing many things, including people. She just loved to be held and carried around. She'd even sit on my shoulder like a bird.

Skittles was the sweetest cat you could ever meet. Always the friendly face in any crowd, Skittles had a gift for making every room brighter and every heart lighter. She taught us that life is about the simple pleasures: the warmth of the sun, the thrill of discovery, and the comfort of being close to those we love. So, let's not say goodbye but rather, "See you later!" because a spirit as loving as Skittles never truly leaves us.

She's just exploring the great beyond, waiting for us to catch up.
