Priscilla Anderson/Truett lost her ferocious battle with cancer on July 12, 2021. She was 10 years old. Priscilla leaves behind sons Stan and Ollie (of the home), plus a son and daughter, Congaree and Cassidy (adopted by LeeAnn and Jim Stoddard).
A very pregnant Priscilla was rescued in April of 2011 and, on Good Friday of that year, presented to the world four beautiful kittens. She was a wonderful mother and protected her kittens with the ferocity that only a mother could have. That personality stayed with her through life - much to the consternation of others in the household who did not know how to deal with a "Tasmanian Devil".
Her tenacity never wavered - even when diagnosed with tongue cancer in November 2020. She did her best to eat and, when that finally failed, patiently accepted syringe feedings, then hand feeding for several months. Throughout it all, she was always full of life - prancing about and being a happy, active and curious cat.
