Ollie Anderson-Truett

Ollie Anderson/Truett lost his battle with acute kidney failure on September 25, 2023. He was 12 years old. Ollie leaves behind his brother, Stan (of the home), plus Brother and sister, Congaree and Cassidy (adopted by LeeAnn and Jim Stoddard) and his housemates at Cayce House of Cats.

We rescued a very pregnant cat named Priscilla on April of 2011. On Good Friday of that year, she presented to the world four beautiful kittens. Ollie was one of those kittens. Priscilla had a ferocity of character throughout her life that we hoped would not be inherited by her offspring. Fortunately, that bothersome trait did not rub off on Ollie. In fact, he was a bit shy in his younger years (probably to appease his mother). When Priscilla passed in 2021, Ollie came out of his shy little shell and lived a good, full life.

Ollie – we are so heartbroken that you had to leave us. Your mother and the other members of Cayce House of Cats who have gone before have called you to be with them for a reason. Just know that Stan, Papa Stoney, and Mama Valerie love you and will miss your sweet face with the big, wondering eyes.
