KoKo Joe Kovac, 11 year old female German shepherd of Lexington, SC, peacefully crossed over the Rainbow bridge on the hot afternoon of August 1, 2021 surrounded by her family and friends.
KoKo was the beloved best friend of Joseph "Butch" Kovac, who preceded her in death until this sad summer afternoon.
KoKo was not just a dog, she was a family member, a sister, and a best friend. She was the paw that would reach out to you when there wasn't a hand to grab. She loved to run with her humans, take rides and walks, she even loved the fun game of fetch. Often times when she would fetch, she would bring back a whole tree branch versus the stick originally thrown. She also loved to get treated to a spa day every now and then.
KoKo is preceded by her family of humans, and sweet Mema, Barbara Dennis, who took her in after the passing of Butch, KoKo's first love, her number one human.
KoKo will be greatly missed, but we know that she is happy and healthy, running through fields of green and flowers, playing fetch with her human who proceeded her.
Until we meet again over the rainbow bridge, you will forever be in our hearts.
