Jack Wargny

d. April 6, 2023

Jack Wargny, known as “Jack” or “Jack Jack” to family and friends, crossed the rainbow bridge on April 6, 2023, in Lexington, South Carolina. Jack was a loving, gentle, sweet, and talkative dog and lived a great 15 years. Jack is remembered by his fur mom Sarah, her fiancé William and the Wargny family.

Jack was born on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2008, and was the sweetest dog an owner could have. The day Jack was brought home, Sarah knew they would be best friends for life. As a puppy, Jack loved to go on his own adventures in the neighborhood and play tag, he was quite good too. Jack was known to take over any bed he could and claim his throne, wouldn’t budge for anyone until he was ready to move. Jack enjoyed working on his tan in the backyard, receiving treats from the neighbor, and helping Sarah and William with yard work, mainly supervising.

Jack was particularly fond of food. There was not a single piece of food that stood a chance against Jack, he was able to sniff out food no matter how well it was hidden. Jack would never pass up an opportunity to jump and snatch up food. Jack was always eagerly waiting for his next meal or tasty treat. Jack did not like toys that much as he got older but if that toy involved food, he was ready to play.

As we remember Jack, we remember his unique personality and the impact he had on our lives. Jack knew when his owner was feeling down or needed extra love and would be there to provide cuddles, kisses, and a compassionate presence. Jack made sure his voice was heard and would talk to anyone who was willing to listen or even if they weren’t. Jack was able to bring a smile to anybody’s face and turn any bad day around. Jack was a fantastic first dog an owner could ask for and he will be missed dearly by those who knew him.
