Fred Kyre

d. September 7, 2023

Fred crossed the Rainbow Bridge on September 7, 2023 at home, in the arms of his loving mom. He is preceded by AJ, Moose, Suma, Sammy, and Country who held a huge welcome party for him, based on the storm that came up right when his spirit was leaving his body.

In October 2010, Fred found his way to the local fire station and on into the loving arms of his new mom. It was love at first sight. Over the years they travelled and went to be with the kids and horses at the therapy farm where she volunteered. They were barn buddies for 13 years. He had horse siblings in the back yard so he patrolled their pasture and supervised Mom doing the barn chores every day for a decade. He was never far from his Mom’s side. He loved being outside, playing with his step-brothers and just being happy. Everyone loved him, even people who normally were not fond of dogs.

Fred and his mom were together all of the time. He was truly her side-kick, companion, best friend and anchor. Unfortunately, he lost his 7-month battle with lymphoma. He got to spend the last 2 weeks of his life doing his favorite things; going to the barn with mom and snuggling with her at night.

Fred will be dearly missed and forever appreciated for the love and the life lessons he brought to his mom. His last request is for all of you to love your fur-babies a little more and appreciate the simple things in life.
