Duke Lyles

Duke Lyles, a loving and adventurous soul, crossed the Rainbow Bridge, on May 3, 2023, at the age of 14. Born on January 21, 2009, Duke lived a spirited life filled with joy, laughter, and endless adventures.

Duke is survived by his adoring pet mom, Charlotte; and his playful 5-year-old nephew, Jax. He was preceded in death by his sister, Daisy, who undoubtedly greeted him with wagging tails and wet kisses upon his arrival at the Rainbow Bridge.

From an early age, Duke showed a keen interest in exploring the great outdoors. With a natural talent for chasing birds and lizards, he spent countless hours honing his skills and delighting in the thrill of the chase. Duke's granddad taught him the art of digging for earthworms, a pastime that brought him immense joy and satisfaction throughout his life.

Duke's adventurous spirit was only matched by his love for his family. He cherished every moment spent with his pet mom, Charlotte, always by her side, whether enjoying head and belly rubs, watching TV, or laying in bed together. His unwavering loyalty and affection were a constant source of comfort and happiness for his beloved pet mom.

Walks were among Duke's favorite activities, and he eagerly anticipated each opportunity to explore the world around him. His boundless energy was infectious, and he could often be seen bounding through fields and parks, chasing tennis balls with the enthusiasm of a pup half his age.

Duke's love for tasty treats was legendary, and he was always eager to sample the culinary delights that his pet mom prepared in the kitchen. Popcorn held a special place in Duke's heart, and he would eagerly wait for the familiar sound of kernels popping, knowing that a delicious treat was soon to follow.
