Cornish. You were the best chicken ever. And thank you for being such an amazing, smart, beautiful, and sassy bird. You were perfect in every way.
You were the light of my life for almost 11 incredible years. And I wouldn't trade the time we spent together for anything. All the best memories I have, are with you.
I will forever miss holding you, and kissing you.
I will forever miss seeing you get excited to see me again.
I will forever miss all the funny little sounds you made.
I will forever miss the smell of your feathers.
I will forever miss the messes you would make.
I will forever miss looking down and seeing you resting deeply in my arms, knowing there is no other place you would rather be.
And I am grateful that of all places you could have died, you did so in my arms, while I watched the light fade from your eyes. And the last thing you saw was me.
I don't know what im going to do without you. and i will never, ever, ever, ever forget you.
And i know you are looking down right now, smiling and waiting, counting the seconds until I can hold you again...
