Cooper Clancy

d. May 25, 2023

Cooper Clancy, a loving, sensitive and gentle soul, departed this earthly realm on May 25, 2023, in Columbia, SC, after a series of seizures. Born on February 20, 2012, in Waterfall, PA, Cooper brought immense joy and love to all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Cooper was deeply loved and cherished by his family. His devoted Mama, Kimberly Clancy, and his steadfast Dad, Daniel Clancy, were ever by his side, providing him with love, warmth, and care. Cooper was adored by his siblings Beau, Addie, and Angus and together, they formed a bond that can not be broken by the passage of time. His family finds solace in knowing that Cooper has joined his brother, Sydney, in the eternal sunshine of Heaven.

Cooper's life was filled with the simple pleasures that brought joy to his heart and a smile to the faces of those who knew him. He loved to bask in the warm embrace of the sun, feeling its golden rays upon his face and letting the light fill his spirit. His adventurous soul found solace in the excitement of camping trips, where he could explore the wonders of nature and breathe in the fresh, invigorating air of the great outdoors. Cooper's spirited nature serves as an inspiration for us all to live life to the fullest, embracing every adventure and opportunity that comes our way.

His love for his family knew no bounds, and he relished every moment spent in their company. Cooper loved to accompany his Dad on rides in "his truck," a cherished ritual that brought them closer together and allowed them to share the joys of the open road. The neighborhood walks he took were filled with enthusiasm and joy, as he greeted his many friends with a wagging tail and a gentle nuzzle, spreading happiness wherever he went.

As the famous quote by Anatole France goes, "Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened." Cooper's loving presence undoubtedly awakened the souls of those fortunate enough to know him, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. His gentle spirit and unwavering loyalty make him an irreplaceable member of the Clancy family.

Cooper's passing serves as a reminder of the profound impact that our beloved pets can have on our lives, enriching our experiences and deepening our connections to the world around us. May his spirit continue to inspire us to cherish the bonds we share with our animal friends and to appreciate the beauty and wonder of the natural world.
