In loving memory of Cody, a cherished member of our family, who peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 14.5 years. Originally a beloved companion of our sweet Nana, Cody found a new home with us four years ago, bringing his precious teddy bear face, wiggly tail, and love for snacks, into our lives.
Cody was one of a kind. He barked at the TV, he had us carry him up and down stairs, and he would use his deep woof to tell us it was dinner time. But he was also absolutely adorable and had us wrapped around his paws. He looked like a teddy bear and had giant brown eyes. Every night we tucked him into bed with a handful of his favorite treats.
Cody and his bed were a fixture in our living room. And as he grew older, he slept soundly between meals. During the holiday season, Cody positioned himself under our Christmas tree. He was as much a part of the holiday decorations as the twinkling lights.
As we say goodbye to cutest dog there ever was, we reflect on the long, happy life Cody had. He was absolutely one of a kind.
