Chester Leelee Rutland

Chester LeeLee Rutland was and will always be the best son ever. He was 15 and a half years old. Born and raised in Montana then moved to SC with his mother.

He met his mother on January 4th 2009 and the instant they met "eyeball to eyeball" as they affectionately called it, it was a love like no other. He was his Mama's son, best friend and service dog. They were together for 15 years and two days. He had to leave his mother on January 6th 2024.

Chester had such a zest for life and a personality everyone enjoyed... They always laughed and commented about his expressions and reactions.

He was loving, humorous, and devoted to his mother.

Chester was a ladies man.. He loved the ladies. He enjoyed "hooooofing" at rabbits, antelope, coons and especially doggies! He would tell you quickly he was not a dog, he was a son, a baby man!

He was a food critic for sure! He trained his mother how he wanted his food cooked and what he wanted!

Chester was the most beautiful, gentle, tender, loving soul. He loved his mother with a love so pure,true and powerful. He should be recognized and honored for the hundreds of times he physically saved his mother's life.

His mother told him every day he was the bestest "my son" EVER, bestest good boy EVER, most important EVER and one Mama loves EVVVVVERRRR!

For 15 years and two days they shared the most incredible, loving, unbreakable bond.

Until we meet again Sweet Baby, eyeball to eyeball, I love you.
