Chanel "Nelly" Smith, beloved canine family friend, crossed the Rainbow Bridge, peacefully on March 31, 2023. Known affectionately as Nelly, she was born on January 27, 2014, and brought joy, love, and laughter to everyone who knew her. Nelly was a loving, friendly, and gentle soul, always eager to share her warmth and affection with those around her.

Nelly's story began when she was given as a Valentine's Day gift to her mother by her father during their first year together. This thoughtful and meaningful gesture marked the beginning of a beautiful and cherished bond between Nelly and her family. She quickly became an integral part of their lives, bringing happiness and comfort to all who had the pleasure of meeting her.

Throughout her life, Nelly was known for her love of lamb chop toys, which she would carry around with her and play with for hours on end.
