Cassie Barber

Cassie passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 13, 2025. She was a cherished companion to Vincent Barber and brought joy to everyone around her for the past 7 years. From her early days of training, hurricane relief efforts, boundless energy and mischief to her later years of lazy afternoon naps and endless belly rubs, she lived a life full of love and adventure. She loved car rides, even though she’d get sick. She enjoyed chewing bones and playing with her brother Blue.

Cassie met everyone with a wagging tail and gentle spirit. She made everyone feel welcome. She always knew when someone needed a little extra love and was always there to offer comfort and warmth. She will be remembered for her playful heart, unwavering loyalty, and unconditional love.

Cassie’s legacy will be carried on by her human Vincent and her brother Blue and Grandmother Donna Cemoni, and by all those whose lives she touched. Though she may be gone, her paw prints will remain in our hearts forever.

Rest easy Cassie, you were the goodest girl, and you will never be furgotten.
