Atlas Tiffin

Atlas, a beautiful Akita mix, was sadly euthanized Thursday, October 21, 2021. He was a rescue that was scheduled to be put down because of behavioral issues, but one more rescue wanted to give him one more chance. His mistreatment from birth created an aggression that some of the best trainers in the state could not resolve. In fear of the safety of others, there was no other choice, but to put him to sleep. He was lost, but hopefully the next one can be saved.

Atlas will be cremated and his remains scattered in the serene mountains of North Carolina. Maybe there he will find the peace he so dearly longed for.
